MoneyGram enables money transfer without agents on MobilePass

MoneyGram Money transfer users can now use MoneyGram with the mobile application to fill in their sender and receiver data and make a remittance from convenience of their homes without any need to use an agent for a transaction. The company unveiled the introduction of MoneyGram MobilePass service to make transfers more quickly and with an enhanced comfort.

Users can now initiate a money transfer transaction using their mobile gadget or perform it online after which they would go to any MoneyGram location nationwide in the United States. They can take their mobile device or go online and at order a money transfer providing their information about the sender and the receiver along with the amount to be sent. Then they go to any location of MoneyGram chosen from a list of stores across the country.

The company commented on the launch noting that the idea was to make the service more convenient for the customers as they come to the money transfer locations and wait for some time as agents may be busy filling the information for a number of senders. With the new functionality customers can now enter their transaction information without an intermediary agent and complete the transfer transaction at the respective location they select.

The company made this announcement on a way of continued efforts to boost consumer experience with the introduction of up-to-date innovative technologies. MoneyGram plans to expand MobilePass further internationally in the upcoming months.
