31 January 2018

Boost Mastercard is partnering with Boost Payment Solutions, a US B2B acquirer company helping businesses to optimize their card payment processing, over enabling acceptance of commercial card payments in the Caribbean region.

In the official statement the companies reported that Boost Payment will be implementing its processing solution, Boost Intercept, for providing suppliers with access to virtual payments capability. The deal will allow expansion of Boost’s services into the Caribbean in addition to its existing markets, including United States, Canada, Brazil, UAE and Australia.

Dean Leavitt, CEO of Boost Payment, expressed excitement over the introduction of the company’s card processing solution to Caribbean businesses, expecting the deal with Mastercard to demonstrate the full potential of commercial card payments for enterprises in the region.

Marcelo Tangioni, speaking for Mastercard Caribbean, added that it is crucial for businesses to be able to access their funds, and, thus, the partnership with Boost Payment meets the expectations of enterprises in the Caribbean for wider choice of payment options.
