LA software firm MobileCause enables donations for its nonprofits through PayPal

MobileCause MobileCause, a Los Angeles-based software company providing online and mobile fundraising solutions for nonprofit organizations, is partnering with PayPal to enable improved, faster and more secure option for the NPOs to accept payments from their donors. MobileCause services educational, faith-based, healthcare, and charitable nonprofits providing flexibility to the donors to make contributions from any place and any device.

Sean McNeill, CEO of MobileCause, noted that their mission is to ensure connection between the donors and the causes they view as important. The software company seeks to provide simple solutions to nonprofits helping them increase their support base, accept and process payments.

Partnership with PayPal will bring a host of benefits for the NPOs, including faster online donations, fast arrival of funds transferred through PayPal, tracking donors and donations, enhanced security level as PayPal is PCI compliant, rebated fees for nonprofits under clause 501(c)(3) of the US Internal Revenue Code, and finally sending branded tax receipts and payment records to donors.

MobileClause further noted that the transactional data coming from donations processed through PayPal will be available through its open API interface, which means streamlined integration with partner solutions.
