Bittrex exchange resumes registration of new customers

10 April 2018

BittrexBittrex, a Seattle-based cryptocurrency exchange, announced that it has started accepting registration of new users again after halting the signup last December explaining the move by high demand of the service.

Until recently users had to file their applications for a registration and were included into the waiting list, as the exchange reports. Now all participants will need to pass the verification procedure for completing the process of registration.

Bittrex, which has not been available for registration along with Binance and Bitfinex, also announced the launch of a new upgraded version of its website that features higher level of security.

Bill Shihara, a co-founder and CEO of Bittrex, noting that the company is responsible for ensuring reliability of their platform for the customers and a prominent level of customer service, said: “After diligently working to improve our infrastructure and upgrade our website, we’re pleased to announce registration for new users resumed today.”

In addition to the registration resumption and new website announcement, the startup also said that its team will now include several new employees, including former Amazon workers and former members of the U.S. Departments of Justice and Homeland Security.
