Samsung Pay offers rewards for daily purchases

1471408268489Samsung is introducing a new incentive program for loyal consumers using its Samsung Pay mobile payment platform for transactions across the United States. The program called Samsung Rewards will provide customers with access to a range of various points for making mobile payments for daily purchases with Samsung Pay service on their devices.

The points could after be exchanged for some products offered by Samsung, as well as vouchers, money on Samsung Rewards Visa Prepaid Card and some gift cards that could be used for items at leading retailers in the United States. Besides, the reward program offers users “Instant Wins” – special gifts including travels to Las Vegas.

According to an executive from Samsung the program features special levels that increase the points two, three or four times which depends on the frequency of the service use. Thus, customers who make purchases in the period of November-December, will have their points double.

Samsung Pay is live on compatible mobile devices as well as gadgets produced by Samsung. The mobile payment platform also offers near-field communication transactions and electromagnetic transmission for contactless payments powered by magnetic stripes.

The mobile payments service was first introduced in the United States in late September last year after the August launch in its motherland South Korea.
